Our Commitment

We prioritise creating and maintaining a safe working environment where risks are assessed and managed effectively. Our policy promotes awareness, responsibility, and continuous improvement in health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Management: Ensure safe systems, provide training and resources, and monitor compliance.
  • Employees & Volunteers: Follow policies, report hazards, and take reasonable care for health and safety.
  • Visitors: Observe safety instructions and report concerns promptly.

Risk Assessments

We carry out regular risk assessments for all activities and premises to identify potential hazards and implement control measures. These assessments are reviewed annually or following any significant changes.

Emergency Procedures

  1. Raise the alarm immediately by shouting ‘Fire’ or activating the nearest alarm point.
  2. Evacuate the building calmly using the nearest safe exit.
  3. Assemble at the designated meeting point and do not re-enter until authorised.
  4. Notify emergency services if necessary.

First Aid

Accident Reporting

All accidents, incidents, or near misses must be reported promptly using our internal reporting system. This helps us investigate, learn, and prevent recurrence.

  • Inform your line manager or designated health and safety officer.
  • Complete the accident report form within 24 hours.
  • Assist with any follow-up investigations as needed.
