Code of Conduct

Welcome to the Nebulexe Trinity Foundation Code of Conduct. As a UK community charity, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of behaviour and professionalism in all our activities. This Code sets out the values we embrace and the standards we expect from all our trustees, staff, volunteers, and partners.

Our Values and Expected Behaviour

  • Respect: We treat everyone with courtesy and consideration.
  • Dignity: We value each individual’s worth and contributions.
  • Inclusion: We promote equality and welcome diversity in all forms.
  • Honesty and Integrity: We act transparently and responsibly at all times.
  • Accountability: We take responsibility for our actions and their impact.

Respect, Dignity and Inclusion

All individuals involved with the Foundation are expected to foster an environment free from discrimination, harassment, and victimisation. We celebrate diversity and ensure that everyone feels valued and included regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief, or any other protected characteristic.

Honesty and Integrity

We commit to acting truthfully and ethically in all dealings. Misrepresentation, fraud, or any form of dishonesty will not be tolerated. We encourage openness and transparency in communication and decision-making.

Safeguarding Responsibilities

The safety and wellbeing of all beneficiaries, volunteers, and staff are paramount. Everyone must adhere to safeguarding policies to protect vulnerable individuals from harm, abuse, or neglect. Any concerns must be reported promptly to the designated safeguarding officer.

Confidentiality

We respect the privacy of individuals and safeguard all sensitive information. Confidential information must only be shared on a need-to-know basis and with appropriate consent. Breaches of confidentiality are taken seriously and may result in disciplinary action.

Use of Social Media

When using social media, individuals representing the Foundation should behave professionally and responsibly. Posts or comments that could damage the Foundation’s reputation, disclose confidential information, or cause offence are prohibited. Personal opinions should be clearly distinguished from official statements.

Conflicts of Interest

All trustees, staff, and volunteers must declare any personal or financial interests that could influence their impartiality or decision-making. Conflicts of interest should be managed openly and fairly to maintain trust and integrity.

Health and Safety

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for everyone involved. All individuals must comply with health and safety policies, report hazards or incidents promptly, and take reasonable care to protect themselves and others.

Anti-Bullying and Anti-Harassment

The Foundation has zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, or any behaviour that creates a hostile or intimidating environment. Such behaviour undermines our values and will be dealt with swiftly and appropriately.

Reporting Misconduct

Any concerns about misconduct, breaches of this Code, or unethical behaviour should be reported without delay. Reports can be made confidentially to the designated safeguarding officer or another senior member of the Foundation.

Disciplinary Action

Breaches of this Code may result in disciplinary measures, including warnings, suspension, or termination of involvement with the Foundation, depending on the severity of the issue.

Policy Review

This Code of Conduct will be reviewed regularly to ensure it remains relevant and effective. Updates will be communicated to all relevant parties.
